Brazil - Swiss Water Processed Decaf Coffee

Notes of sweet chocolate & Vanilla.

The flavor is wonderful, and as you can see in the picture below has a nice crema.  This espresso in the picture was from a home super automatic, so you can imagine how great it is in a regular espresso machine.

The Water Process

A chemical-free method for removing caffeine from green coffee. The process involves soaking green coffee in fresh water until it reaches a saturation level that allows the dis-solvable solids, including caffeine, to be extracted. The water then passes through carbon filters, removing the caffeine before being returned to the tank. Using pressure, the coffee oils are reintroduced to the green coffee, leaving it around 98 - 99% caffeine free.
