Refund policy

Exchange and Return Policy for NON Commercial Equipment

Phone or website purchases are eligible for return within 30 days of the ship date. Shipping and handling fees will not be reimbursed; if you selected Free Shipping during checkout, we will deduct our original shipping and handling fees from your overall refund.

You must first obtain an RMA return number.  Items returned without this will NOT be accepted and will be refused delivery.


To be eligible for a return for BOTH COMMERCIAL AND CONSUMER equipment, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Items must be received in like new condition, free of any marring, scratches, with all accessories, packaging in original condition etc in like new condition.  If your equipment arrives in this condition, we will refund your original payment method the full purchase amount less our original shipping & handling costs. Equipment that is not received in this condition will be assessed by technicians and may be subject to refurbishment fees based on the condition its received back.  We do our very best to be fair in these assessments.

To start a return, you can contact us at admin@javaexoticimports.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Unfortunately Items marked FINAL SALE or CLEARANCE or GIFT CARDS are NOT Returnable.

When returning an item the costs of the return shipment is the responsibility of the purchaser.  It is also the purchaser's responsibility to insure the item for loss or damage.

Exchange and Return Policy (Commercial products)

If you are purchasing a commercial product such as a Commercial Espresso machine, grinder etc. please note that it will be subjected to a 25% restocking fee.  This is because of the nature of the product and the costs associated to prepare and deliver the unit. Items must be returned in the original condition and packaging. The item must be returned using the original shipper.

Build to order products cannot be returned since they are considered special orders.

Commercial Orders - Package Deals - Proposal Pricing

Please note that if you have been given special pricing in a package deal, we cannot accept returns due to the special package pricing.  In such a case we will be happy to upgrade an item to another product if you wish to pay the difference, but otherwise package pricing is non refundable and final sale.


Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
